Douglas was born December 29th, 2009. He is the daughter of Adrienne here on the farm. Douglas came to the farm as a virgin bull. We will use him in 2010 to breed some of the cows. Himself & Amos will share the girls :)

All the Milking Devons here on the farm have chains on their necks with a numbered tag. This not only makes for easy identification out in the pasture but allows us to catch hold of them easily when we need to look at them, milk them etc. They are used to wearing these "necklaces" so it is far less stressful for them than putting something on them just when we need to handle them. Douglas's Tag Number is 15.

Douglas is registered with the American Milking Devon Cattle Association (AMDCA).
