Karen was born May 25th, 2007. Look at that sleek coat :) Greta is Karen's daughter from 2011.

All the Milking Devons here on the farm have chains on their necks with a numbered tag. This not only makes for easy identification out in the pasture but allows us to catch hold of them easily when we need to look at them, milk them etc. They are used to wearing these "necklaces" so it is far less stressful for them than putting something on them just when we need to handle them. Karen's Tag Number is 7.

Karen is registered with the American Milking Devon Cattle Association (AMDCA).
